Jordan Whitten

D.Ac, D.TCMA, R.Ac

Through the practice of Chinese Medicine, Jordan believes that healing happens by realigning patients with the laws of nature.  From this balance point, the patient clears the blockages that impede their innate vitality, and returns to their default state - health in body, mind and spirit.

Jordan completed a three year Diploma of Acupuncture, and a six year Diploma of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture.  He also spent nine years fully immersed in a daily cultivation practice of internal alchemy (Neigong 內功, Neidan 內丹, Qigong 氣功), “Daoist medicine” 道醫 and Yijing 易經 study under a single teacher.  Jordan has since left that organization and graduated to cultivation study under the enigmatic Non-Dualist Bái Yuán 白猿, as well as (classical) Daoist study-practice with Xiūjìng 修靜 of the 華山全眞 Daoist Tradition.

Jordan’s clinical work is inspired by the scholar-practitioner current of Chinese Medicine practice.  He is a firm believer in continuous study and engagement with the classic texts of Chinese Medicine; ‘the water is purest at the source.’ The following quote captures the heart of this path: “半日臨證半日讀書”  (Half a day overlooking disease, half the day reciting books).

Jordan is a member in good standing with ATCMANS (Practitioner No. 2939), and is insured with PHSG Canada.

He has lectured internationally on Chinese medicine theory, including at Washington Acupuncture and Eastern Medicine Association (WAEMA) and the Wu Faculty of Chinese Medicine.
